Kofi Siriboe has been known to steal scenes. Last year, I, along with the rest of the movie theater crowd, gasped when his perfect face was shown staring up at Jada Pinkett Smith’s character on a New Orleans balcony in the film Girls Trip.

And in the OWN series Queen Sugar, he delivers a powerfully graceful performance as Ralph Angel, a young Louisiana man who is just trying to figure it all out.

So, he not only serves us face, but he serves us actual talent. And now, we’ll be able to see him in a lead role that continues to display both.

According to Deadline, the 24-year-old has been cast to play the lead in the film Really Love, and this news gets even sweeter because the story will be directed by a black woman – first-time feature film director Angel Kristi Williams.
